They looked like refugees running through the Albany train station trying to catch the midnight to Chicago. Dan charged ahead of his family, carrying two suitcases and a shopping bag, and moved at lightening speed. He ran through the station, his tall thin frame weaving in and out of wandering late-night stragglers, and careening off of corner posts. Dharma Lesson in Dharamsala
It's late again. I grumble to myself because I'm stuck in McLeod Ganj long after sunset. It is too late to walk the dark road to the Library and getting a taxi may be difficult. I grumble at the expense of the taxi. The taxi stand at the Temple is empty. I walk up the long dark road to the bus stand. I feel the chill of the evening on my chest and wrap my hooded fleece tight around me. There are no taxis at the taxi stand and only one three-wheeler vehicle is left.

A Different Galaxy
Alina found herself at the Delhi Airport surrounded by a gathering group of people waiting for the Druk Air flight to arrive. They spoke in a language she had never heard before. Most of them were dressed in business attire, but she suspected that wasn’t their normal fashion. They were soft-spoken and addressed each other in respectful tones. She watched and listened with great interest. They were a clue to the culture and mannerisms of the place which she would soon enter. I


Lost
I love being out in the middle of a blizzard, the snow falling and spiraling around me so fast that it obliterates the world and leaves me floating in a cosmic dimension of frosty whiteness – there is no up or down, left or right, in or out – just being there in the midst of it all with the whirling, swooping whiteness stinging my face.

Old Soul (work in progress)
Is the tale of a spirit called back to the earth plane to help in the transitions of humans on this Earth. He arrives with a few others who signed up for this mission, committed to help humanity through the challenges of going through a dimensional shift. His name is Motu and he is the main narrator, though he knows he has been known by other names through his various lifetimes.


Time to Go (work in progress)
A story about the multi-cultural relationship between Kyllie and Abhi. It is narrated in a circular tale that spirals upward, while it ends where it begins and begins where it ends. They met online and found, despite their cultural and political differences, that they had a lot in common. Their first call went on for hours, as though they were lost friends reconnecting and catching up with their lives’ journeys.
