Coming together

we are stars
hurled
bright and igneous
transcending
exploding
and spiraling
through the darkness.
I saw you dear Warrior
In the radiant iris of the Cosmos
Your heart glowed its beautiful deep blue
and pulsed through me head to toe
filling me with so much energy and life.
The eye of the Universe looked right at and
through me, and the multitudinous details
of my here and now diminished into minutia
that couldn’t distract or displace
the power of its omni-presence.
